Humble, needs no introduction.
When we shot this, my original plan was to try and produce a Joel Grimes (#1 on my inspiration list) effect. But when I actually got started, it ended up going in an entirely different direction. I wanted to play on symbolism, try and visualize Humbles lyrics within the image. If you’ve ever listened to Humble the Poet’s words, you know what they can do to you. They are forcefully poetic, hammered into your brain with surgical precision leaving you with you greater understanding of things you never expected to feel. Thats where the disorienting blur, splatter, swirl and light come in to play.
